Before the FACTS SIS students, faculty, and courses can be successfully enrolled in existing Google Classroom classes, they must be mapped between FACTS SIS and their Google accounts.
I have already completed the Google Classroom configuration, created the G Suite Service Account, and finished the Domain Configuration (the first three steps from Step 5 below).
Once you log into Facts/SIS, click on the question mark in the circle at the top center of the screen.
Scroll down to the Google Classroom for Admins link and click on it.
When that opens scroll down to the bottom of the list and select More Information.
The Need more help? window will appear. Click the On-Demand Resources button (green arrow). Note that the Video Overview is also available on the On-Demand Resources page, so there is no need to select that here.
In the middle of the On-Demand Resources page you will see six tasks that need to be accomplished. I have completed the first three, and part of the last three.
I am leaving those last three for you to look over and change as needed. Each of these are step by step instructions.
At the bottom of the page is the Administrator and Teacher videos. The steps below are the second part of the Administrative video.
To get to these three configurations (Students, Faculty, and Courses), in Facts/SIS, on the menu at the far left, click on System, and then click on Configuration.
When the Configuration list comes up, select Google Classroom.
From there you can make the necessary changes and additions to Courses, Faculty, and Students.
The remaining set up is done by the teachers, as explained in that video.
